In the area, there are a variety of other activities to explore, both on your own and in organized groups. For bird lovers, there are fantastic opportunities for birdwatching. Over 290 bird species have been recorded here, of which about 150 are breeding birds. There are many Bird Protection Areas (please note that there is a landing prohibition during the breeding season, and in several protected areas, access restrictions apply for a longer period).
Additionally, you can experience horseback riding and flock walking, which provides a unique opportunity to enjoy nature in a different way.
Beyond this, there are also flea markets, farm shops, museums, an elk park, and boat tours to discover. Below, we present some suggestions for activities!
Gullbrandsbyn Horseback Riding
Welcome to Gullbrandsbyn and horseback riding. Three gentle, experienced horses that are social and suitable for terrain.
Longer and shorter rides are available with or without a guide, depending on experience and preference.
I also offer “flock walking,” with loose or led horses. We walk together with the horses, who more or less decide where we go and where we stop. During this walk, we try to focus on nature, the horses, and each other, in tranquility.
