The house Slängom is a cozy family house close to the forest, fishing and swimming.
The house has its own plot with a lawn, patio, and a small arbor. The area around the house is open and situated in a sunny location.
The house has access to its own boat dock where you can fish and swim.
At the dock, there are rowboats and canoes available for use from May to September.
Bråtnäs is a small “village” in northwestern Dalsland with both permanent residents and summer guests.

The space
The house has three bedrooms accommodating up to 9 people: 8 adult beds and 1 crib for a child.
Bed linen and towels are included in your booking. For stays up to 3 days, you are responsible for cleaning before you check out.
For stays of 4 days or longer, final cleaning is included.
The first bedroom you encounter when entering the house has a bunk bed where the lower part can be extended into a double bed, 170 cm wide. There are three sleeping places here. A clothes rack is available, and wardrobes can be accessed in the hall outside the room. The room has a roller blind.
The second bedroom has a double bed, 180 cm wide. Wardrobes and a roller blind are available.
The third bedroom has a bunk bed and a crib. Wardrobes and a roller blind are available, and the room is furnished with books, puzzles, and games for children.
Guest Access
You are welcome to use the living area in the house, the garden, and the boat dock. You can fish and swim. The small cottage, basement, and attic are for the landlord only.
A walk of about 400 meters will take you to Lake Lelång. There, you can borrow boats and canoes at no extra cost. Remember to moor the boat and place the oars in the boat after use. Return the canoes to their original place with the paddles underneath them. Any trash accumulated during your time at the lake should be brought back to the house, sorted, and disposed of properly. Life jackets and flotation devices (15-60 kg) are available for loan.
There is no charging station for electric cars, and it is prohibited to charge in any other way for safety reasons. This is because an electric car must be charged from a properly designed charging station.
Other Things to Note
Bråtnäs is located in northwestern Dalsland, about 35 minutes from the nearest town. Bengtsfors, Dals Ed, and Årjäng are the larger towns nearby and offer most public services. Bråtnäs is in the countryside, so there is no bus line for passenger transport. A private vehicle is required for arrival and departure.
If you want to take a day trip to explore the surrounding area, please visit the lock in Lennartsfors or take a walk along the Torrskog Trail.
You can also take a day trip to Oslo, Karlstad, and Uddevalla. By car, it takes about 2 hours one way.
Oslo, Karlstad, and Uddevalla can also be visited on a day trip, which takes about two hours by car.
